About this destination
Destination Overview
Traganou Beach is a long and beautiful pebble beach located along the same stretch of coastline between Faliraki and Afandou. Compared to some of the more famous beaches nearby, Traganou often feels quieter and more open.
The beach is known for its clear blue water and natural surroundings. The seabed is covered with pebbles that continue into the water, which helps keep the sea extremely transparent. This makes it a great place for swimming and exploring underwater life.
One of the most interesting features of Traganou is the sea cave located at the northern end of the beach. This cave has become a popular spot for snorkeling and diving because of the fascinating rock formations and the way sunlight enters through the openings, creating beautiful reflections in the water.
